Forget about the default Layout Managers, MiGLayout is very easy yet very powerful.

I used this layout manager to create a very complex layout that was based on an XML file. At startup we could layout a component and specify the value to display in each field. This would NEVER have been possible without MiG layout.

We are using it to extend our powerful Swing even further in the ADempiere project. The greatest thing to happen to Java!
